B.A.S.E. jumping is one of the world’s most dangerous sports; over 270 deaths have been reported over the last 30 years, that’s around 1 in every 60 participants.
More than 30% of these deaths have occured because of cliff strikes, entanglements, false exits and use of inadequate gear.
The visor is one of the main and most important elements of Rush. It allows
for a wide field of vision, especially when being horizontal. It lets the user see
what is up, left, right, and most importantly, down. The lens is infused with melanin,
which reduces glare and enhances the ability to read the terrain.
The pattern on the middle-top area allows air to flow from the front to the back.
The laterals of the helmet are fully enclosed, being the most vulnerable zones.
The pattern is inspired by the shape of a person descending from the sky and its
arrangement creates very little chance for debris to go into the helmet.
HAVE TO RISK
YOUR LIFE TO
GET THE SHOT.
Rush's integrated camera creates a snag-free surface that prevents entanglements with the parachute lines. The overall experience is safer and more convenient.
The intuitive interface consists of physical buttons that let the user operate the camera without taking the helmet off. The helmet connects to their phone to preview and store the footage through Wifi.
