Rush is a helmet designed for BASE jumping. This helmet is a tool that celebrates the video sharing aspect of extreme sports and physical accomplishments of humanity as a collective. Rush's enhanced video integration and ergonomic features help prevent accidents that could jeopardize the user's life.
Rush was designed with the humans behind BASE jumping in mind. After talking to several crazy awesome people, I discovered how dangerous this sport really is.
Rush's Heads-Up-Display shows jumpers their altitude and helps them to determine when to pull the parachute and avoid collisions.
The camera module is flush with the helmet, elimination possible snagging with the parachute lines. The intuitive interface allows the jumpers to interact with the camera without taking their helmets off and staying protected.
The inner padding is made of Poron™, a material that resists multiple impacts.
This padding protects the user's head in case of cliff strike. The Fidlock™ magnetic buckle allows for easy release in case of entanglements.
